One of the standout features of these laptops is their use of recycled plastic in their chassis, a move that helps reduce their environmental impact. The EliteBook 1040 G10 and EliteBook x360 1040 G10 also offer user-upgradable RAM and a 38 Wh battery that can be upgraded to 51 Wh if necessary.

In terms of connectivity, both laptops come with two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, two 5 Gbps USB Type-A ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. They also offer the option of a 5G-enabled nano SIM card slot and a Smart Card reader, as well as support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
