The Lenovo Tab Extreme is a new Android tablet that was previewed at CES 2023 and is set to be released in the summer of 2023 in Europe. The tablet is being marketed as a competitor to the iPad Pro 12.9 and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and boasts some impressive flagship specifications.

One of the standout features of the Lenovo Tab Extreme is its 14.5-inch OLED display, which has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display also has a native resolution of 3,000 x 1,876 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it ideal for streaming movies, TV shows, and other multimedia content.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Tab Extreme is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which includes a Cortex-X2 CPU core and three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 3.05 GHz, as well as four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and 1.8 GHz. This powerful processor is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring smooth and fast performance.

In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Tab Extreme offers a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and a USB 2.0 Type-C port, as well as 8 JBL-branded speakers with Dolby Atmos and 4 microphones. The tablet also has a 13 MP camera on the front and back, as well as a 5 MP secondary front-facing camera and an RGB rear-facing camera.

One of the unique features of the Lenovo Tab Extreme is its Keyboard, which is reminiscent of Apple's Magic Keyboard and allows users to easily type on the go. The tablet also has a fingerprint sensor and facial recognition technology for secure unlocking, as well as a 12,300 mAh Li-ion battery that should provide long-lasting use.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme comes with Android 13 and is promised to receive three OS upgrades and four years of security updates, ensuring that it stays up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.

In terms of size and weight, the Lenovo Tab Extreme is on the larger side, measuring 327.8 mm wide, 210.8 mm tall, and 5.85 mm thick. It weighs 740 g without the Keyboard and 1.5 kg with the Keyboard attached.

Lenovo has confirmed that the Tab Extreme will be available in the Eurozone in June 2023 and will be priced at €1,299. It is unclear at this time if the tablet will be released in other regions, such as China and North America.
