The upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 has been certified for sale in the Chinese market, according to a recent report. The Ace 2 is the successor to the original Ace, which was launched in April 2020. With its certification already in place, the Ace 2 may arrive earlier in the year than its predecessor did.
Certification and Availability:
The certification process revealed that the Ace 2 will be sporting a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging support, similar to that of the OnePlus 11. Additionally, the Chinese model of the Ace 2 has the model number PHK110. The phone will be available in India and possibly other countries, rebadged as the OnePlus 11R.
Specs and Features:
The Ace 2 is said to come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone will have a 50 MP main camera, flanked by two other shooters on its back. The selfie snapper will be either 16 MP or 32 MP. The Ace 2 will also have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display.
Operating System:
The Ace 2 is expected to run Android 13-based ColorOS 13 in China. However, if it does launch internationally as the OnePlus 11R, then that model will get OxygenOS 13 instead of ColorOS. It is unclear at the moment whether the Ace 2 will have the alert slider or not.
