Anbernic has recently introduced the RG353PS, a budget gaming handheld that aims to provide an affordable alternative to its predecessor, the RG353P. This new handheld is powered by the Rockchip RK3566, a low-powered chipset that features four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores running at 1.8 GHz and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. Although the RG353PS comes with a lower RAM capacity of 1 GB, compared to the RG353P's 2 GB, it offers the same 3.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, and a 3,500 mAh battery, which is capable of providing up to 6 hours of gameplay.
The RG353PS does not come with built-in storage or Android support, but it features two MicroSD card slots, one for installing games, and the other for running its Linux-based operating system. The handheld also includes an HDMI port for connecting it to an external display, as well as a Wi-Fi chip for multiplayer gameplay. The RG353PS comes in multiple colourways, giving users the freedom to choose from three different options.
