The CPU
This HP ENVY x360 15M-EE0023DX Touch-Screen Laptop boasts AMD Ryzen 7 4700U an accelerated processing unit (APU) for thin and light laptops based on the Renoir architecture. This APU integrates all eight (8) cores based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture. The SoC is clocked at 2 GHz base clock speed to up to 4 GHz boost speed without Simultaneous Multithreading. This means that it can process up to 8 threads at once. The TDP is stated at 15 Watts but can be modified from 10 Watt to 25 Watt from the laptop builder. Because of the missing SMT and marginally inferior boost clock, the Ryzen 7 4700U would be a bit sluggish than the Ryzen 8 4800U. Consequently, it would still defeat the Intel Core i7-1065G7 with 4 cores and 3.9 GHz clock speed in multi-threaded tasks effortlessly.

The Graphics Card
The HP ENVY x360 15M-EE0023DX laptop comes with an integrated GPU called Radeon RX Vega 7 with 7 CUs and up to 1600 MHz. This integrated GPU is based on the Vega architecture, 5th generation GCN, and has 7 CUs which is equivalent to 442 shaders. The performance of this iGPU should be somewhat inferior to the older RX Vega 8 GPU with 1 additional CU, but not as much of clock speed. This means that only some taxing games of 2019 will render in the lowest detail settings. Less power-hungry games such as Fifa 20 or Dirt Rally 2.0 would run in higher settings and 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Display
In terms of display, the HP ENVY x360 15M-EE0023DX laptop features a 15.6" Full HD 10-point multitouch screen with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. It also features IPS technology, edge-to-edge glass, and WLED-backlit. It also features 250 nits, 45% NTSC. With the specified resolution this is not the sharpest display you can find in the market nowadays.

The RAM
