Acer has revealed its new 18-inch gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 18, which boasts high-end hardware from Intel and Nvidia, a mini LED panel and a mini LED keyboard. The laptop will be available for purchase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in February and in North America in March.

The Predator Helios 18 is available in a range of configurations, including a WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) 165 Hz display, a WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) 165 Hz display, a WQXGA 240 Hz display, and a WQXGA 250 Hz mini LED screen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The keyboard also features a per-key mini LED backlight with RGB lighting.

Consumers can choose between the Intel Core i9-13900HX or Core i7-13700HX as a processor for the laptop, and while graphics card options have not been specified, it's likely that the Acer Predator Helios 18 will be able to accommodate a recently-released GeForce RTX 4090 or RTX 4080.
