ASUS has recently presented the Chromebook CM14 series, which consists of the Chromebook CM14 and Chromebook CM14 Flip. Both laptops are powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 520 chipset and feature 14-inch displays as well as numerous ports and other features.

MediaTek Kompanio 520 chipset:

RAM and Storage:

Both the Chromebook CM14 and the Chromebook CM14 Flip come with 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of eMMC flash storage. This allows for quick boot-ups and fast access to stored files and applications.

Battery and Charging:

ASUS powers the Chromebook CM14 series with a 42 Wh battery that supports 45 W charging via USB Type-C. This ensures that the laptops can be charged quickly and have a long battery life.

Design and Build:

Both units of the Chromebook CM14 series measure 325 x 227 x 18 mm. The more complex hinge in the Chromebook CM14 Flip makes it heavier than its laptop sibling at 1.56 kg versus 1.45 kg. Despite this, the design is sleek and modern.

Display: ASUS installs different displays in the Chromebook CM14 and Chromebook CM14 Flip. However, specific information about the displays has not been confirmed by the company yet.
