Lenovo's Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet May Soon be Available Outside of China

Lenovo's Legion Y700

Lenovo may be planning to expand the availability of its Legion Y700 gaming tablet beyond China, according to recent findings. Product pages for the tablet can be found on Lenovo's websites in countries such as Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Peru, Slovakia, Singapore, and Spain, as well as an incomplete page on Lenovo India's website. However, searching for the tablet on Lenovo's websites in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia yields a 404 error page.

The Legion Y700 was originally released in China in February 2022 and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage, as well as a 6,550-mAh battery that can reportedly be fully charged in 45 minutes. The expansion of the tablet's availability to other markets would be a welcome move by Lenovo, as options for premium or high-quality Android tablets are currently limited to larger formats.

It is unclear if or when Lenovo plans to release the Legion Y700 globally. However, the company is set to appear at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2023, so more information about the tablet's availability may be revealed at that time.
